Installation of reinforced concrete slurry wall, load bearing elements with embedded structural steel columns, and excavation utilizing top down construction techniques for a below grade parking garage & college classroom building.
• 120,000 S.F. reinforced concrete slurry wall and interior load bearing elements.
• 108,000 C.Y. deep excavation (up/down method) within slurry wall. This work involved
the excavation of soils below existing concrete floor slabs, within a slurry wall cofferdam.
• Treatment and disposal of 67,000 tons of hazardous waste soils.
• Processing, recycling, and transportation 107,000 tons of excavated soils to various landfills and recycling facilities.
• Sewer & water service.
• Storm drainage.
