Sheeting Installation

Project Description: The Northpoint project involves construction of a new city block in Cambridge, MA. Several office and residential buildings are planned. AA Will scope of work for lot JK included installation of approx. 65,000 S.F. of sheetpiling cofferdam. A 40ft deep excavation was then performed utilizing two levels of cross lot bracing to temporarily support the sheetpiling during construction. Processing, recycling, and transportation of 90,000 C.Y. of excavated soils to various landfills, recycling facilities, and on site reuse was performed in. In addition, six dewatering wells were installed 50’ below grade to depressurize sand lenses as the excavation work reached subgrade for the mat foundation.
