Project Description: 1350 Boylston Street included installation of sheetpiling cofferdam, and braced excavation for a new residential tower and below grade parking garage. AA Will scope included Installation of approx. 29,000 S.F. of sheetpiling cofferdam, and a 25ft excavation. One level of cross lot bracing was used to support the sheetpiling during excavation. Treatment and disposal of hazardous waste, including on site stabilization of lead contaminated soils. Processing, recycling, and transportation of 25,000 C.Y. of excavated soils to various landfills and recycling facilities. This project also required controlled removal of several deep caisson foundations directly adjacent to City streets.
